History of Carol A. Kueker Construction Education Visionary Award
The Carol A. Kueker Construction Education Visionary Award recognizes individuals for their passion and dedication to NEF programs and the promotion of construction education.
Ms. Kueker joined NAWIC in 1983 and through her membership, earned her Certified Construction Associate (CCA), Construction Industry Technician (CIT) and Construction Document Specialist (CDS) certifications. She helped grow the NAWIC Education Committee into the NAWIC Education Foundation (NEF).
An active member of NAWIC, she was President of NEF in 2002-2003 and supported the NEF mission and its programs at both local and national levels. She was given the NAWIC Region 6 Member of the Year Award in 1994, NEF’s Darlene H. Johnson Volunteer Achievement Award in 1998, and the Outstanding Achievement Award in 2005. Carol’s dedication to NAWIC and NEF is legendary throughout the construction industry within the United States.
